Dr. Martin K. La-Kumi is an experienced family, cosmetic and restorative dentist with an easy, relaxed and caring approach to dentistry. He is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in Toronto for the last 30 years. He loves to see his passion for dentistry impact the lives of his patients.
What separates the average dentist from one who is exceptionally well prepared? Passion for dentistry, continuing dental education and artistic talent are the critical differences. Dr. Martin K. La-Kumi has completed extensive post-graduate training in the areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry allowing him to do most dental repairs in-house, during a single visit. In 1994, he completed the Perio Institute Surgical Skills Program designed to enhance proficiency in basic periodontal surgery and stay current with knowledge and therapeutic methods. In addition in 2012, he completed The Misch International Implant Institute™ training program enabling him to place and restore dental implants.
