Your First Visit, Step by Step

We keep your first appointment simple and comfortable.

1

Welcome & Health History

We’ll review your medical history, current concerns, and goals. This helps us tailor care to you — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

2

Comprehensive Exam

Your dentist will assess teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health. We’ll explain what we see in straightforward language.

3

X-Rays (Only When Needed)

If clinically appropriate, we may recommend X-rays to check areas not visible during an exam.

4

Cleaning / Hygiene Care

A cleaning may be done the same day depending on your gum health and clinical needs. If you need a different type of hygiene care, we’ll clearly explain why.

5

Clear Plan & Next Steps

You’ll leave with a clear plan, priorities, and options — with time for questions and no pressure.

What to Bring

To make your visit smooth, please have the following ready:

  • Government photo ID
  • Insurance information (if applicable)
  • A list of current medications
  • Recent dental X-rays or history (if available)
  • Your questions — we welcome them!

Insurance & Billing Support

We can help you understand your coverage and provide guidance before treatment begins.

Direct Billing Available

We offer direct billing depending on your specific plan.

Good to know: Coverage varies by provider. Any out-of-pocket amount depends on your individual plan and the care you choose.

Comfort-First Care

If you’re anxious, sensitive, or haven’t been to the dentist in a while — you’re not alone. We take a calm, respectful approach.
